Announcement's:

Marbletown Sportsmen's Club...

was incorporated in 1950 by a coalition of Stone Ridge, Staten Island, Long Island and New Jersey members who were primarily interested in promoting hunting and the shooting sports. It has been one of the premiere shooting clubs in Ulster County demonstrated by being named "Club of the Year" several times (most recently in 2007) by the Federated Sportsmen of Ulster County. Our club is located on 109.4 acres, between the Shawangunk '&' Catskill Mountains and is operated by our dedicated members. Marbletown Sportsmen’s Club provides a wealth of activities for shooters of all ages and interests. Our facilities are well-maintained and support a variety of archery, rifle and pistol disciplines. We offer the community unsurpassed service, and education, always emphasizing the importance of safety and being a good neighbor. All events are open to the public, who are cordially invited to attend and participate.

The Junior Sportsmens Program...

has been very successful over the years. It is enjoyed not only by the youngsters who participate, but by their parents as well. Firearms safety and shooting are taught by our range officers and dedicated instructors. Archery is also a part of the program and alternates during the season so that all aspects of shooting and safety are covered with the children and adults new to such sports.

Sportsmens Shows...

are becoming harder and harder to find these days. We have been very active in sponsoring an annual sportsman’s show that caters to fisherman, hunters, and collectors of knives and fishing '&' hunting memorabilia. Spending a day at our annual market gives everyone a place where they can buy or sell gun (100% compliance with Federal, State '&' Local laws), archery gear, hunting and fishing equipment or just hang out and have a meal with others who share similar interests. Sportsmen from Albany to Middletown attend our shows, which are becoming more popular each year.

Shooting Events...

are held throughout the year and bring together sportsmen from all over the Hudson Valley. Our firing range is one of, if not the best in the area. All can shoot from a covered firing line to 25, 50 and 100 yard target stands to well-maintained bermes, which ensure a safe environment for all. Bench rest matches are held annually for rim fire shooters. Coordinated with other clubs, we set up different classes so all are .22 rifles can be accommodated We also hold turkey shoots and other events such as sight in days for all classes of firearms. All such events are open to the public and members of other shooting clubs.
